Two hours a week can change a child’s future..
The above sentence does looks catchy.. I saw this in a Mall..
Well, Just give ur 2 hrs to our country, then the word “CHILD” will be replaced by d word “NATION”.. Spending 2 hrs with underprivileged children who have the desire to learn.. I bet it’s worth it yaar..
Hats off to Times of India again.. They have come up with yet another innovative way in improving our nation.. Lead India was a grand success and almost all the participants of Lead India stressed on one thing in their entire campaign — Basic education to the needy..
Well, we have now figured wat India needs to be d best among all. I honestly feel this is the right platform for us to contribute our something to our nation..
I ve seen people cribbing and complaining a lot abt the system… But never seen someone taking initiative to change it. We all wanted someone to start, so we have Times of India doin tht bit for us. So, stop being judgemental and start doing.. I know its hard.. but why not try something thts easy.. somthing tht we all can do..
How many of us have not seen kids who in their ripe age of 8 or 9 selling Indian flags on the eve of Independence day on traffic signals.. We think twice b4 taking tht round, shiny Re.1 coin out of the pocket. And, we feel we ve done somethng to a poor kid of india.. think again.., the problem is deeper. These young kids r lacking the rights and advantages of other members of society. They ve the rights to njoy wat every other kid in a school has. Even, they are talented like all.. Give them Rs.10 note and they will return u the exact change… wat do u call this wen a 7 year old who never went to school does this. — “just pure talent.”
Our 2 hrs may help them find a job in their future to support their families.. A small change in our lifestyle can change our nation.. Skippin a movie on a weekend or skipping a visit to a mall or a social gathering may change our country..
This is a beginning of many good things to come. think.. act soon..
